Paulette’s connection to fashion began early. Raised in a humble family where sewing was both craft and necessity, she learned patternmaking from her mother, a seamstress in Cuba, and helped sew garments to support their household after leaving the country with very little. From those formative experiences, Paulette developed a deep respect for construction and the belief that what you create by hand can bring joy, confidence, and meaning to others.
